  • Who is eligible to apply for a grant?

    Our foundation supports 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. We give priority to organizations aligned with our mission and funding priorities. If you're unsure about your eligibility, please feel free to contact us before applying.

  • How do I apply for a grant?

    Grant applications must be submitted through our online application. Please review our Grant Application Guidelines before submitting your proposal.

  • When are applications due?

    We accept applications year-round, however, we meet three times a year to review submissions.

  • When will I be notified if my application is approved?

    Grantees will receive notification via email.

  • What types of projects do you fund?

    We support a variety of initiatives, including education, medicine, visual and performing arts and community. We do not fund political campaigns, individuals, or for-profit ventures.

  • Can I speak with someone before applying?

    Yes. We encourage prospective applicants to reach out with questions or to request a preliminary conversation. Contact us at kim@mf3.org

  • Do you offer multi-year grants?

    In some cases, we may consider multi-year funding commitments. These are typically reserved for organizations with a strong track record and ongoing strategic alignment with our mission.

  • Do you require a final report or evaluation?

    Yes. All grantees are required to submit an application on how funds were used and the impact of the funded program or initiative.

  • Can I reapply if my application is not selected?

    Yes. Organizations are welcome to reapply during future grant cycles. We recommend incorporating any feedback received from previous applications.
